What a Sunday! I just wrapped up a five hour editing, formatting, and uploading session for Inside Glass Jar Goodies, the book I'm co-authoring with my mom. While I've published with Lulu before, never have I had to format a manuscript to such an extent. I had some serious formatting issues to contend with. The version of Works I'm using makes it especially difficult to add page numbers to some pages while leaving them off of others. Page breaks and returns also appear differently once converted.
But I figured it out! And it looks beautiful!
I've sent it off to mom for a final proofread. They're her recipes, after all. She'll be able to catch a typo or mistake better than I will. Chris will be working on the cover within the next two days. After that, all the book needs is a table of contents and a few graphics.
I'm so excited!
We're still debating on whether to create a website for the book or not. We'll definitely be creating a page for it on Goodreads. I would also love to host a giveaway through GR for it. I love Goodreads!
